Consultancy: new ideas & new markets

Zinkit: the mind behind your kits

Seems most scale model companies feel comfortable running around the same old concepts and trends again and again, releasing the very same kits as all the rest of the competition. They feel comfortable till the heavy investments thrown in these projects don’t bring back the profits expected.

Aren’t you tired of yet another Tiger lying in the shop selves?

Don’t you think it’s time to think out of the box and bring different and exciting kits to the market?

We firmly believe there are still many ways to make business and profits in the scale modelling market.

We are experienced modellers with a wide knowledge of the hobby, at both sides of the wall. Plastic, resin, scratchbuilding, 3D… we have been working on all and every media for a long time. First as pure modellers, thereafter running our own aftermarket companies or advising and helping others. A lot of time also devoted to writing articles and books, running websites and forums, leading shows and workshops, travelling and researching deeply for our own projects.

So it was time to put all that expertise into something still more serious.

Because this is a serious business. Or it should be, like any other business looking for a real, solid, long success.

With the closest relation to our customers, and full confidence and commintment to the task.

New ideas for real profits

We love thinking out of the box. Because many times a fresh, new, original idea, even the weirdest one, when well-thought, well planned and developed, can be made into a reality. A reality to break into the scale modelling market and bring sales, recognition to the brand, success in the business and the opening of new ways for the company to develope further on.

Breaking the moulds

At Zinkit we are focused in military and civilian vehicles, mainly in 1/35th scale but will tackle projects in any scale. We are obssesed with accuracy and detail, but we don’t forget the final consumer so we are also concerned about an easy build with just the precise amount of parts. This must be a joyful hobby, not a headache for the modeller, but some companies seem happy providing overengineered kits with huge number of parts, complex construction and thereafter a poor experience for the modeller… and poor sales. Not our objective or philosophy of the business.
